I'm a 23-year-old grad student living in Berkeley, CA. I'm using this to journal about my thoughts and reactions primarily to Joyce Rupp's Fresh Bread, but also to other religious/spiritual/philosophical things in life. I was raised UU and now attend a local UCC congregation.

I make no claim to any accuracy or higher wisdom so take everything with a grain of salt! Particularly, I've never taken a class in interpreting the Bible or the history of the Bible or anything like that, so my comments could definitely be off in that regard...then again, maybe the important thing is how scripture connects to the individual person, not how historically accurate the connection is? I don't know for sure, but I guess for myself I do care partially about what the authors meant, but I mostly care about how it has meaning for me...which could be totally different than how it has meaning for you!

My username is from the song "Plea for a Good Night's Rest" by Devon Sproule and I think it is a commentary on me being insane. :)
